About Your New Role

The Finance Manager – Corporate and Inter-Company Accounting is responsible for leading the organization’s accounting, inter-company accounting, financial close, reconciliation, and reporting activities.  The role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial records across legal entities, maintains compliance in accordance with accounting standards and corporate policies, and drives efficient month-end and year-end close processes.

 

The Finance Manager serves as a key business partner to Finance Leadership, Shared Services, Tax, Treasury, and external auditors while continuously improving financial controls and accounting operations.

 

Corporate Accounting Management

  • Lead all corporate accounting activities, including general ledger management, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Ensure timely accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Review and approve accounting entries in accordance with PFRS, IFRS, US GAAP, or applicable accounting standards.
  • Maintain integrity of financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Monitor compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls.

Inter-Company Accounting and Reconciliation

  • Oversee inter-company transactions across multiple entities and business units.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation and elimination of inter-company balances.
  • Resolve discrepancies and coordinate with global finance teams to achieve balance confirmations.
  • Manage the inter-company settlements, recharges, transfer pricing allocation, and cross-border transactions.
  • Establish and enforce inter-company accounting governance and controls.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Provide management reporting and variance analysis to finance leadership.
  • Support statutory reporting requirements and external financial disclosure requirements.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established timelines.

Controls, Compliance, and Risk Management

  • Maintain compliance with internal control frameworks, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Identify accounting risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Legal, Payroll and Shred Services Teams.
  • Act as primary finance contact for corporate accounting and inter-company matters.
  • Provide accounting guidance to business leaders and finance partners.
  • Support strategic projects, acquisitions, divestitures, and entity restructuring activities.

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members.
  • Establish performance goals and development plans.
  • Forster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Manage resource planning and workload allocation across team.

 

 

 

About You

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is strongly preferred
  • MBA or Master’s in Finance is an advantage
  • Knowledge and understanding of local and international financial reporting standards
  • 8-12 years of progressing accounting and finance experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience managing accounting teams
  • Working knowledge in BOI and/or PEZA regulation is highly preferred
  • Strong experience in:
    • Corporate Accounting
    • General Ledger Management
    • Inter-Company Accounting
    • Financial Reporting
    • Month-End close
    • Audit Support
    • Internal Controls
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with financial consolidation systems is highly desirable.
